The truth of the matter is that only a few dry cleaners who worked with it daily, nationwide, in the last 100 years, got cancer. In fact, if you need to cure a bad case of 'hook worms', doctors have been known to prescribe you a teaspoon a day of perchlothetholine, the same fluid.
